In-class proctoring for the Electronics Technicians Association - ETA Alternative Energy Technology Solar PV Certification Training
This one week technical Installation training course is designed for someone with no experience in electricity or the electrical field. Mira Costa College also administers the ETA Alternative Energy Solar PV Certification exam in the “CLASS ROOM”. MiraCosta College Solar PV Installation course provides solar PV installation training with an option to take the ETA Solar PV Certification exam in the classroom.
Through our training the student will learn basic Solar PV theory and INSTALLATION methods via classroom lecture, and experience a hands-on lab session that focuses on solar PV installation concerns including site evaluation, sizing calculations, testing and trouble shooting methods for "Grid-Tie" and "Stand Alone Battery" PV systems. This training is suitable for individuals wishing to pursue the “Green” Alternative Energy installation field. With the ETA Alternative Energy provides for Wind Certification, Solar Thermal Certification, Geothermal Certification, Micro Hydro Certification and Fuel Cell Certification.
