Photovoltaic (NABCEP) PV Installer Certification
Intensive two-day, 16-Hour course designed to prepare individuals registeredto take the NABCEP PV Installer Test. Class information will be compact and fast paced. The size of each class will be limited to assure each student receives quality training. The course will include in depth training on Batteries, the National Electric Code and Safety as noted below:
- Calculating requirements for conduit runs on roof tops
- Determine proper distance between PV arrays using sun angles and module dimensions
- Final system commissioning process and troubleshooting
- PV Racking methods and considerations
- String sizing
- OSHA requirements as they relate to on the job oversight and Fall protection requirements
- Prerequisites: Acceptance from NABCEP to sit for the PV Installers Certificate exam
